What is Your Favorite Season?

Spring is here and all the flowers are beginning to show off their gorgeous colors. Trees are letting go with some serious greenery and all the animals that seemed to have vanished over night when Winter came, are all out playing and happy. That's my list of likes for Spring. My favorite seasons are Fall and Winter. While others spend the entire Winter begging for Summer, I spend the Winter dreading the Summer. I am told I am an odd ball but I don't mind being odd.
I have an allergy to the sun that only rears it's ugly head in the hotter months of the year. I spend my Summer constantly seeking the shade or choosing when I should go outside and what for. Of course, I like the coziness of Winter also. Snuggling up on the couch with my puppies and a nice warm blanket is the perfect way to spend a Winter evening.
It seems that I spend the entire summer trying to avoid the sun and heat. No beaches for me unless it's really cloudy, early in the morning(I am NOT a morning person!), or late in the evening. I love Winter as much as a fish loves water.
What's your favorite season and why?

  1. I love, adore, wait for, pine for Summer. I am very sun sensitive, but I dont care. I may have to wear my dark as night huge sunglasses and spf 2000, but I am outside in the warmth of the sun as often as I can get.

Although the winter is cozy and a chance to snuggle, I dread the coming cold every time I see the leaves changing in the fall.

  2. I like it okay in the Spring when it is kinda warm, but I absolutely cannot stand it when it gets sooooo hot that you feel as if your skin is going to melt off!

  3. I like Spring and Fall, both are my favorite. Winter is too cold and Summer is too hot. I feel like I'm trapped inside during those two seasons because I cannot stand the cold. I can stand the heat a bit better but I have extremely fair skin that never tans; I burn peel and go back white. But in the Fall and Spring I can go outside and bask in the glory of God's creation. Also everything looks barren in the Winter because everything is dormant and in the Summer everything gets fried. I love the change in colors in the Fall and the blooms in the Spring. That's where I find alot of my inspiration.

  4. Jill,
Us fair skinned girls have it rough, huh? I like to be out in the Fall. There seems to be a different energy in the air during the Fall that isn't present any other time of the year. I have made several failed attempts at writing a book but can never seem to get my mind around the plot. One thing I have noticed that all of half stories have in common is that they are all set in the Fall.
